Wilma Dean Flowers

Funeral services for Wilma Dean (Coatney) Flowers, 79, of Sperry, were held Friday, September 1, 2017 at Westside Southern Baptist Church in Bartlesville, OK. Pastor Mike McNair officiated and burial was in White Rose Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK. Casket bearers were Corey Olivarez, Danny Teague, Earl Waller, Thorne Poorman, Bryan Waller and Cody Thompson.

Dean was born April 26, 1938 in Niotaze, KS to George and Iva Pearl (Pollard) Coatney. She passed away August 29, 2017 in Tulsa, OK.

Dean was member of the Westside Southern Baptist Church. Her children and her faith were important to her. Dean enjoyed many different arts and crafts.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Flowers of Sperry and Jim Hayden of Fort Smith, AR; daughter, Berna Teague of Turley; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Andrew, Clarence and Gene; sister, Gail; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Flowers; parents, George and Iva Coatney; and several siblings.
