William Glen Lewallen

Funeral Services for William Glen Lewallen, 94, of Broken Arrow, were held Tuesday September 9, 2008 at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Adam Stang officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casketbearers were Chris McBride, Derek Seaba, Ricky Juby, Tim Heitkamp Jerry Kelly. Honorary Casketbearers were Bill Fry, Shirley Fry, Esther Sisk, Mona Hoffman, Gerald Kelly, Junior Baltzell, Terry McKenzie. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

He was born December 2, 1913, in Stidham, OK, to Floyd Sylvester and Sarah Bell (McCracken) Lewallen. He passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008, in Broken Arrow, OK.

He worked at Motor Pool Dx and retired from there after 33 years. He enjoyed helping others, gardening and yard work. He was a longtime and faithful member of Sperry Christian Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Johnnie McBride and husband Bill of Tulsa; grandchildren, Terry McKenzie, Chris McBride and wife and Celeste, and Theresa McBride; great-grandson, Alex McBride; sister, Reba Duncan; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Lucille (Navel) Lewallen; daughter, Dimple Bobbitt; brothers, Ralph Lewallen and Onnie Lewallen; sisters, Eva Risinger, Amy Wagner, Helen Loney, and Marie Harper.
