William M. Giles

William M. "Bill" Giles, 77, of Skiatook, passed away February 19, 2010 in Claremore, OK at the age of 77. Bill was born February 11, 1933 in Fayetteville, AR to Sylvester Bryan and Rose Marie Giles.

He proudly served in the U.S Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Retha of 38 years; son, William "Bryan" Giles and wife Debbie of Skiatook; stepdaughters, Karen Turcott and husband Rich of Skiatook and Susan Cox and Husband Gary of Skiatook; sisters, RoseMary Wagliardo and husband Jasper of Wheaton, Mo and PeggyRouse of Memphis, TN; and 19 grand and great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Stella Haskins; one grandson.
