Funeral Services for Wanda Lee Candy, 72, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday December 31, 2008 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Adam Stang officiated and burial was in the Greenleaf Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK. Casketbearers were Clint Candy, Randy Candy,Jack Candy, Jesse Candy , Stephen Candy, Bill. Honorary Casketbearers Lloyd Candy, Floyd Candy, Jeff Heaps, Calvin Compton, John Candy Jr. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Wanda was born March 30, 1936 in Braggs, OK to Louis Jack and Susie Ann (McClain) Candy. She passed away December 27, 2008 in Tulsa, OK.

She worked in dry-cleaning.

She is survived by her sister, Rachel Sims of Tulsa; brothers, John William "Bill" Candy and wife Christine of Broken Arrow, Lloyd Candy, Floyd Candy and wife Cherry; nieces, Lucreatia Jane Compton and husband of Tulsa, Jennifer Jane Compton of Tulsa, Stephanie Michelle Heaps of Tulsa; great nephew, Sethen Lane Compton of Tulsa. Many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Rachel Candy; parents, Jack and Susie Candy; brothers, Jesse Candy, Deertrack Candy, George Candy, Dean Candy, James Candy. Many other relatives, nieces, and nephews.
