Vince E Dake

Funeral services for Vince E. Dake, 61, of Tulsa, OK, were held Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Chiefy Tiger officiated, and burial was in Charley Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Nekon Dake, Issac Dake, Kyono Dake,Caleb Dake, Allan Dake and Jacob Dake.  Honorary Casket bearers were Fernando Escobar, Eli Dake, Misael Quiroz, Anthony Long and Otis Hughes.

Vince was born December 24, 1962, in Tulsa, OK, to Daniel Wayne Dake and Rachel Ann (Washington) Dake. He passed away January 20, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.

Growing up, Vince enjoyed playing sports. Throughout his school years he played football, baseball and was on the wrestling team. Vince gained an interest in carpentry and remodeling from the family business. In his free time, Vince enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Miranda Harjo, the mother of his two girls and his stepchildren. Vince had a big heart, loved helping others out and being with his family and grandkids. He also enjoyed playing pool, golf, and working at the dog kennel in Stroud with his buddy, Jerry Hines. Vince was truly loved  will be greatly missed, He was a simple man 

He is survived by his daughters, Raven Nicole Dake and husband, Anthony Long, and Chelsea Danielle Dake and husband, Misael Quiroz; grandchildren, Ayden Dake, Neveah Dake, and Noah Dake; father, Daniel Dake; brother, Nekon Dake; sister, Regina Dake; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Dake; and sister, Stacey.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
