Memorial services for Victor Allen “Vic” Vaughn, 71, of Sperry, OK, were held Monday, January 6, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Pastor Gary Butler officiated.
Vic was born April 25, 1953, in Tulsa, OK, to John Thomas Vaughn and Betty Lee (Carnathan) Vaughn. He passed away December 31, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.
Vic, a disabled veteran of the United States Navy, who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, was a cherished member of the Gondles-Butler VFW Post 7977 in Skiatook. He had a passion for wood crafting, painting, and motorcycle riding, and he never shied away from stirring up a little fun along the way. Vic was truly one of a kind—an unforgettable man who always had a joke ready and a knack for being the life of the party. To know Vic was to know someone who fully embraced the adventure of life and lived life on his own terms – He liked it that way.
He is survived by his daughters, Heather Robertson, and Victoria Mineo; son, John Vaughn; grandchildren, Hailey, Meghan, Sarah, Savannah, Breña, Amara, Ember, Xavier, and Amelia; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Norah, Olivia and Waylon; brothers, Pat Vaughn and wife, Anita, and Mike Vaughn and wife, Charlotte; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, JT and Betty Vaughn; granddaughter, Faith Quillin; and brother, Tony Vaughn.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
