Vearl Lloyd Carmichael

Funeral Services for Vearl Lloyd Carmichael, 68, of Owasso, were held Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Kay Sain officiated and burial was in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket Bearers were Kevin Hargrove, Dale Carmichael, Cody Atterbury, Anthony Goodell, Amber Zorn, Bill Hargrove and Darrel Carmichael. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Vearl was born April 14, 1946 in Haskell, OK to Lloyd Leo Carmicheal and Goldie Rebecca Walters. He passed away October 28, 2014 in Owasso, OK.

Vearl retired from Memorial Park Cemetery as a groundskeeper. He worked hard to support his family. He enjoyed watching T.V., fishing and gardening. Vearl always showed off his prized garden and people were envious of it.

He is survived by his wife, Maddle Carmichael; sons, Keith Atterbury, and Albert Atterbury; daughter, Tresa Cagle; grandchildren, Cody, Kora Bell, Amber, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Jakob, Charlie, and Ashland; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Carmichael; mother, Goldie Rebecca Walters; sisters, Mary Eastep, Geraldean Bruner, Helen Collins, and Leona Dobbins; and son, Donald Atterbury.
