Tony Bixler

Funeral services for Tony Bixler, 33, of Tulsa, OK, were held Monday, March 25, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Thomas Tefft officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Jaden Bixler, Andrew Fleming, Kayden Laughlin, Kolton Bearshead, Aksel Bixler, and Anthony Barker.

Tony was born March 2, 1991, to Mark Paul Bixler and Michelle Renee “Button” (Stocum) Bixler. He passed away March 15, 2024, in Lawton, OK.

Tony grew up in Hallett, where he, his brother, sisters, and cousins all loved staying at Grandpa LeRoy’s running around till dark! Growing up his mom and uncle always lived together, so Tony and his cousins grew up together. At a young age, Tony loved making his own money so he would work with a family friend running a trash truck. Tony loved his family and more than anything loved his boys, Kayden and Aksel. Tony enjoyed collecting things like watches, jewelry, nik-naks and electronics. He also LOVED to go hog hunting. To know Tony was to love Tony! He was so ornery, but he also had a huge heart and could make anyone laugh! He loved helping people, and he would give the shirt off his back to help a stranger & his family was everything to him!

He is survived by his wife, Shari Bixler; sons, Kayden Laughlin and Aksel Bixler; father, Mark Bixler; brother, Todd Fitzgerald; sisters, Tari Bixler, and Tina Bixler; grandmother, Barbara Skelton; aunts, Jean Bishop and Tawny McDole; uncles, Merle “Smokey” Stocum, Bilyeau “Blue” Stocum, and Shawn Stocum; nieces, Kylie, Kendall, Laila, and Keona; nephews, Jaden, Kolton, Andrew, and Anthony; all 15,000 cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Michelle “Button” Stocum; grandparents, Joan Stocum, and LeRoy, Terry Bixler, and Ethel Bixler; aunts, Patricia “Cookie” Phillips, Marla Bixler-Caver, and Tonya Bixler; and cousin, Richard “Thumper” Mitchem.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
