Timothy "Buddy Love" Hoover

Funeral services for Timothy ‘Buddy Love” Hoover, 34, of Avant, OK, were held Friday, October 21, 2022, at Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church in Skiatook, OK. Pastor Mitch Leonard officiated, and burial was in Hillside Mission Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Tim Hoover, Morgan Hoover, Nicholas Hoover, Mike Vanderlinden, Jerod Greenleaf, Nathan Scarborough, Adam Green, and Mathew Scarborough. Honorary Casket bearers were Robert Wilson, Joseph Scarborough, Seth Gruenwald, Preston Scarborough, Zach Scarborough, and Christopher Hoover.

Buddy was born November 3, 1987, in Homestead, FL, to Timothy Eugene Hoover and Valerie Gay (Scarborough) Brinson. He passed away October 15, 2022, in Avant, OK.

Buddy was a pipe cutter for Safe Harbor Products. He enjoyed video games, camping, karaoke, going to the lake, watching wrestling, and hanging out with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his parents, Valerie and Shearl Brinson, and Tim and Kari Hoover; brothers, Morgan Hoover, and Nicholas Hoover; sisters, Kate Vanderlinden and Allie Brinson; 6 nieces and nephews; grandmother, Margaret Brinson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd Gale, Fern Gale, Joseph Daniel, Bill Hoover, Pat Hoover, and Bob Brinson; and uncles, Bryan Scarborough, and Bob Hoover.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
