Timmy Ray Crane

Timmy Ray “Tim” Crane, 64, of Mannford, OK, was born August 6, 1959, in Tulsa, OK, to Gerald Crane and Louise (Barton) Crane. He passed away March 4, 2024, in Mannford, OK.

Tim was a resident of Mannford for 64 years.  He attended Mannford Public Schools, where he was active in FFA and served as FFA president.  He also achieved the award of State FFA Farmer.  Tim graduated from Mannford High School in 1977.  He attended college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where he worked toward his Agriculture Education Degree.  In 1982, Tim began working for the Safeway/Homeland Grocery Chain.  Tim worked at various locations, but all locations were subsidiaries of Safeway/Homeland.  Tim worked a total of 42 years in the grocery industry.  Tim was also an avid Oklahoma State University and St. Louis Cardinal’s sports fan.

He is survived by his brother, David Crane of Oklahoma City; nephew, Vance Sharp of Mannford; niece, Lizzie Gore of Oklahoma City; nephew, Jacob Crane of Oklahoma City; great-nieces, Celeste Lopez, Briella Gare, and Emilia Gore, all of Oklahoma City; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Gerald and Louise Crane; and his sister Kristi Sharp.
