Funeral services for Thomas Jackson “Tommy” Ashlock, of Skiatook, were held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Delaware Missionary Baptist Church in Sand Springs, OK. Reverend Eddie Baugher officiated and burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs, OK. Casket bearers were  Larry Ashlock, David Ashlock, Johnny Ashlock, Josh Ashlock, Jordan Ashlock and Raymond Parsons. Honorary casket bearers were Ryker Ashlock, Braden Ashlock, Bryce Ashlock and Andru Ashlock.

Tommy was born October 30, 1943 in Turley, OK to Alvin Ashlock and Dorothy Parsons. He passed from this life on June 3, 2013 joining loving wife, Sherri in heaven at the age of 69.

Tommy and Sherri were married June 1, 1964 and started their family in Turley. He joined the National Guard soon after. Tommy helped establish the Rock Fire Department in 1977 and was the Assistant Fire Chief for 36 years. He began Ashlock Dozer Service in 1971 and worked until his passing. Tommy was a member of Mullett Brothers/Ashlock Racing, and loved showing off his cars and racing with his family.

He is survived by his three beloved sons, Larry Ashlock and wife Sheree, David Ashlock and wife Angie, and Johnny Ashlock and wife Tori, all of Sand Springs; grandchildren, Michelle Ashlock, Jestique Newberry, Josh Ashlock, Jordan Ashlock, Paige Ashlock, Ryker Ashlock Braden Ashlock, Brooke Ashlock, Andru Ashlock and Bryce Ashlock; great-grandchildren, Zayden Crawford and Julian Baily; brothers, Richard Ashlock of AL, Raymond Parsons and wife Barbara of Beggs, and Wayne Parsons of Tulsa; sister-in-law, Debbie Parsons of Sand Springs; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Sherri Ashlock; mother, Dorothy Parsons; father, Alvin Ashlock; and brothers, Bill Ashlock, Eddie Ashlock, Russell Ashlock and Bill Parsons.
