Honorary casket bearers were Brad Bradshaw, Binky Bradshaw, Ed Hammons, Elwyn Isaacs, Wayne Henderson, and Richard Grimm.
Ted was born January 10, 1934 in Talala, OK to Theodore Howard, Sr. and Lillian Elva (Bobbitt) Holland. He passed away October 26, 2012 in Pryor, OK at the age of 78.
Ted was reared in Borger, TX, but came to Foyil every summer to stay with his grandparents, whom he loved dearly. After attending Oklahoma Military Academy, Ted was drafted by the United States Army and served from 1955-1957. He was very proud of having been in the 8th Army Honor Guard while in Seoul, Korea. After serving his country, Ted came to Oologah in 1957 to own and operate Ted Holland Service Station. He married Peggy in 1960 and together had one child. Together they owned and operated the Station, a liquor store and a trailer park for many years in Oologah. In his spare time and during his retirement, he loved raising Heirloom Roses, and mowing grass for his family and other Oologahnians.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Holland; son, Ted H. Holland; and many other relatives and friends.
