Terry Lynn Gibson

Funeral Services for Terry Lynn Gibson, 60, of Tulsa, were held Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Ben Langley officiated and a private family interment followed. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Terry was born April 24, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to Ralph Howard and Maggie Marie (Rains) Gibson. He passed away February 12, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

He was a host at the Cherokee Casino. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. He loved going to church and doing church activities when he was able to. He loved music and was a fine singer. He loved dining out, going to Wal-Mart, and shopping on QVC. He enjoyed talking sports with his grandsons and was very proud in all of their accomplishments. Terry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Lynn Gibson and husband Kaen Bay of Sperry, Margie Mitchell of Iowa; son, Randall Gene Gibson and wife Deanna of Tulsa; grandchildren, Shane Bay and Derick Bay of Sperry, Justin Gibson and Joyce Gibson of Tulsa, Christina Mitchell of Iowa, and Jayden Perry of Kentucky; mother, Maggie Marie Gibson of Tulsa; brothers, Robert Gibson and wife Jane of Ramona, Steve Gibson of Langley, OK, Don Gibson of Tulsa; sister, Barbara Webster and husband David of Sperry; niece, Lindsey Webster of Sperry; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Joyce Diane (Bomar) Gibson, and Mary Carletta (Coffelt) Gibson; daughter, Teresa Perry; father, Ralph H. Gibson; and nephew, Jacob David Webster.
