Teresa Ann Christmas

Memorial services for Teresa Ann Christmas, 63, of Tulsa, OK, were held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phil Johnson officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Melvin D. Blue, Jr., Makala Rose Clayton, Rose M. Christmas, Jessie L. Silkey, Drake Lee Blue, and Braden M. Silkey.

Teresa was born July 20, 1960, in Tulsa, OK, to Orville Lee Christmas and Rozella Mae (Jones) Christmas. She passed away June 25, 2024, in Lexington, KY.

Teresa worked for Handy Dan Improvement Store in the 1980’s. She then went to work for Builder’s Square in the 90’s. However, where Teresa really shined, was at Home Depot where she ran the Pro Desk. She won several awards for the highest sales across all the stores in the US. In just one year, Teresa made 3 million dollars in sales by a single employee. She had also been the highest paid employee at one time.

She is survived by her son, Melvin Blue, Jr. and wife, Nichol of Sperry; daughter, Rose Christmas and husband, David Silkey; grandchildren, Jessie Silkey, Braden Silkey, and Drake Blue; brother, Clifford Christmas; nephew, Austin McSperitt and wife, Stephanie; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Blue; parents, Orville and Rozella Christmas; and sister, Rhonda Christmas.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
