Funeral services for Stanley Gene Holcomb, 70, of Sperry, OK, were held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Chris Moody officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Jackson Holcomb, Shane Henry, Dustin Holcomb, Cody Holcomb, Ronnie Henry, Jr., Luke Henry, and Jimmy Goldesberry. Honorary Casket bearer was Carroll Reynolds.

Gene was born June 8, 1952, in Tulsa, OK, to Stanley Holcomb and Ruby Imogene (Gilleland) Holcomb. He passed away December 3, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.

Gene was an owner/operator truck driver and raised cattle. He enjoyed camping, going to various auctions and working on puzzles. Gene was also a gun fanatic, and a collector of many things. He was always there for his family when they needed him.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Holcomb; daughters, Sharay Jennings and husband, Bryan, and Kathy Holcomb; sons, Travis Dean, Dustin Holcomb and wife, Bri, and Cole Holcomb and wife, Allison; honorary son, Jimmy Goldesberry and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Ronnie Henry, Jr. and wife, Alissa, Marissa Henry, Madisen Henry, Shane “Lugnut” Henry, Luke “Sky Walker” Henry, Jackson “Jacksprat” Holcomb, Braxton “Bubster” Holcomb, Carleigh “Girlie” Holcomb, Cody Holcomb and wife, Ashley, Casey Holcomb and wife, Casey, Cheyenne Holcomb, Kaleb Dean, Haley Dean, and six honorary grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Allie Henry, Ronnie Henry III, Ava Henry, Isabella Henry, Nicholas Henry, Ryah Holcomb, Reiney Holcomb, Reelin Holcomb, Rilee Holcomb, Casey Holcomb, and Emerson Holcomb; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Jason Dean Holcomb, and Mike Holcomb; parents, Stanley and Imogene Holcomb; sister, Deanna Baumgarten; brother, Joey Holcomb; and his beloved Sassy Dog.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
