Graveside Services for Sherman Herbert “Cochise” Wilde, Jr., 55, of Tulsa, were held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. The Dr. Curtis Linton officiated. Casket Bearers were Seth Lang, Tommy Bratton, Trae Wilde, Rick Wilde, Clint Lang, and David Teague. Honorary Casket Bearers were Phillip Knapp, Cliff Lang, Joe Echohawk, Joe Harris, Justin Harkey, and Ben Scott. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Cochise was born March 13, 1958 in Claremore, OK to Sherman Herbert, Sr. and Lucille Marie (Wilson) Wilde. He passed away February 13, 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

Cochise was an A-1 professional and a jack of all trades. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a diesel mechanic with the 4th National Engineering Building Maintenance Unit. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. In his younger days, Cochise was a Boy Scout Leader. He ran in several marathons and was a Golden Glove boxer. Cochise was an avid animal lover, and he especially loved his horses, his cat, and his dogs, Gunner and Louie.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Wilde of Tulsa; children, Trae Wilde of Tulsa, Seth Lang of Sperry, Misty Belcoff of TX, Mandy Ketchum of Las Vegas, NV, and Timmisa Wells of Skiatook; grandchildren, Ryan, Mady, Aubre, Devin, Bailey, Jacob, Bryce, Michael, Hunter, Deacon, Blake, Braden, Shoshanna, Kree, Torrance, Aden, Kyler, and Jamissa; father, Sherman Wilde, Sr.; sisters, Joyce Spencer, and Delores Harkey; nieces, Tonya, Christina, Ranee, and Valerie; nephews, Justin H., Shawn, Cliff, Derek, and Justin G; special friends, Blood Indian Brother, Tommy Bratton, and David Teague; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Wilde; sister, Sharon Wilde; and daughter, Sheran Hart Wilde.
