Sharon Ann Remy

Memorial services for Sharon Ann (McGovney) Remy, 65, of Sapulpa, OK, were held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Case Community Center in Sand Springs, OK. Phil Johnson officiated.

Sharon was born October 19, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to Bill and Wanda Bernice (Christie) McGovney. She passed away October 30, 2019 in Sapulpa, OK.

Sharon loved being in nature, playing in the garden, going camping, fishing or anything that had to do with guns. She worked at a gun store for 7 yrs. Sharon loved to help people. She was loving, caring, and ornery. Sharon always had a smile on her face. She was a Mom to many who met her, and a grandma to a lot of kids that loved her dearly.

She is survived by her life partner, Don Rippenkroege; son, Terry J. Remy and wife, Tammy of Claremore; daughter, Teresa McSparen and husband, Kenny of Sapulpa, and Lisa Meinhardt and husband, Tommy Scott of Lawrence, KS; grandkids, Cody Remy, Katy Remy, Kelsey Remy, Ryan Meinhardt, Kyle Meinhardt, Tara McSparen, and Rocky McSparen; great-grandkids, Jonathan Meinhardt and Zachary Meinhardt.; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Remy; brother, Walter McGovney; and parents, Bill and Wanda McGovney.
