Memorial Services for Sharon Ann Pitre, 48 of Tulsa,were held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 in the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Dr. Chet Veazey officiated. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1959, in Tulsa, OK, to Thomas Eugene and Lois Elaine (Travis) Ruston. She passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. in Tulsa, OK.
While she enjoyed many interests and hobbies, her pride and greatest joy was her family for whom devotion and insight seemed boundless.
Family, friends, neighbors, and even passersby have been privileged to her special kindness and compassion.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Wayne Pitre; daughter, Shavonne Shawnta Pitre; grandson, Curtis Michael of the home; son, Marcus Wayne Pitre of Tulsa; daughter, Julie Ann Pitre of Tulsa; four sisters, Linda Salisbury and family of Lucasville, OH, Jenny Hale and family of McArthur, OH, Brenda Massey of Willston, OH and Susan Simmons and family of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; as well as many other family members and friends.
