Funeral services for Sharon Lee (Beckwith) Eskew, 78, of Sand Springs, OK, were held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Mr. Phillip Johnson officiated, and burial was in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Casket bearers were Dylan Carpenter, Wesley Hahn, James Eskew, Eric Cook, Jesse Carpenter, and Danny Hahn. Honorary Casket bearers were Rick Cook, Jeff Eskew, Duane Beckwith, Will Groce, Brian Mahan, and Jason Corbet.
Sharon was born February 24, 1941 in Marceline, MO, to Ralph L. Beckwith and Minnie Bell (Bryant) Black. She passed away November 13, 2019 in Tulsa, OK.
Sharon graduated from Cleveland High School in 1960. She received her nursing assistant degree from Tulsa County Area Vo-Tech in 1986. She then became employed at Saint Francis Hospital. Sharon was a co-owner of Carl’s Coneys and co-founder of the Blues Society of Tulsa. She was a member of Crosstown Church of Christ in Tulsa. Sharon was a loving wife and meticulous homemaker. She was also creative, compassionate, loving, caring and a worrier. Sharon loved her husband, children, her home and animals, and all her family, friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Eskew at Keystone Lake; son, Rick Cook; daughter, Kelli Eskew; son-in-law, Danny Hahn; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandy Christianson and Pam Reynolds; brothers, Duane Beckwith and Terry Arbuckle; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Black; father, Ralph Beckwith; daughter, Stephanie Hahn; son, John Allen; sister, Barbara Maher; and brother, Larry Arbuckle.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
