Shannon Michelle Points

Funeral Services for Shannon Michelle (Brown) Points, 44, of Tulsa, were held Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Audrey Poteet officiated and a private family interment followed. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Shannon was born December 19, 1969 in Muskogee, OK to James B. and Diana L. (Smith) Brown. She passed away October 21, 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

Shannon worked in Skiatook at JoyMart as a cashier. Before that, she worked at Maverick’s Mini Mart in Turley. Shannon’s humor always made everyone around her happy and laughing. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. God sent his most precious angels to carry Shannon home.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Melton of Turley; daughters, Tymperance Melton of Turley, Taylor Points of Muskogee, and Brianna Points of Turley; grandchildren, Kiley, Macie, Jayleigh, Caden, and Colby, parents, James and Diana Brown of Skiatook; three sisters; six brothers;and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; two aunts; two uncles; and two nephews.
