Sha'e Nikole Boston

Memorial services for Sha’e Nikole (Coffey) Boston, 36, of Sperry, OK, were held Friday, January 28, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Rick Kester and Reverend David King officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Kelbie Jaymes, Kynadie Grace, A’Kaila Rochelle, Chloe Rose, Sadie Grace, and Weston Bryce.

Sha’e was born January 16, 1986, in Tulsa, OK, to Randall Eugene and Mary Victoria (Cunningham) Coffey. She passed away January 21, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.

The youngest of 6, Sha’e was wide eyed and curious from the beginning, with a tuft of curls on top of her head. Her favorite lovey was a feather pillow she called “purple pidda”. If you were looking for Sha’e just follow the trail of feathers and you’d find her drinking a bottle of “chocky mil”. Her hair would have little feathers in it from said “purple pidda”. This is how she rightfully earned the nickname “’Lil Chicken”. Her family moved to Sperry where she attended school and graduated in the spring of 2004 (go Pirates). Sha’e was a cheerleader and also played basketball in school. In September of 2003, Sha’e welcomed a beautiful bundle of joy, her first born, Miss Kelbie Jaymes; she was so happy to bring her home. In December of 2008, Miss Kynadie Grace entered her world. Sha’e was a loving mother and always enjoyed spending time with her children. She enjoyed taking them to lake, making sidewalk chalk art with them, teaching them how to blow bubbles, going to their all of their basketball games and watching them cheer on their teams, and made so many other precious memories with them. In April of 2018, Sha’e married the love of her life Mr. Charlie Boston Jr., and she was never happier than she was with him.

Sha’e was a cheer coach for the Sperry booster club and volunteered as often as possible. She attended both dental and cosmetology school. She often had blue, purple, or silver hair. Sha’e was an artist, and she always had an entire tote or 2 of gel pens, sharpies, pastels, colored pencils, etc. Art was therapeutic for her. Sha’e loved full moons and crystals and she believed in magic; she used oils and herbs in her everyday life, and lit candles with intent and would sage the bad vibes away. Sha’e loved gardening and being in the sun, always had several DIY projects going, and loved working with her hands planting flowers and creating beauty all around her.

Sha’e was wild, and untamed, vibrant, and joyful, fearless, and free. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend. If you spent time with Sha’e, she would always make you laugh; she had that effect on people.

Shae will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Boston Jr.; children, Kelbie Jaymes, Kynadie Grace, A’Kaila Rochelle, Chloe Rose, Sadie Grace, and Weston Bryce; parents, Randall and Mary Coffey; brother, Paul Reed and wife, Jennifer, Matthew Coffey and wife, Lindsay; sisters, Daynise Dickerson and husband, John, and Rachael Blue; nieces and nephews, Kristopher Emmanuel, Ayana Marie, Kristopher James, Kristopher Adam, Chancifer Reed, Trevin Eagle, Nadia Marie, Torie Nikole, Kaden Ross, Aidan Elijah, Zoie Mae, Anna Joy, Logan Ryder, Mason Rae, and Silas Wood; plus the countless other relatives and friends she’s touched.
