Ruby Catherine Blue

Funeral services for Ruby Catherine (Pogue) Blue, 84, of Sperry were Tuesday, March 11, 2008.
The Rev. Don Queen officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
She was born July 15, 1923 in Lewisburg, Ky., to Lonnie and Sarah (Goodall) Pogue. She died on March 9, 2008.
She was a housewife and homemaker who loved quilting and doll collecting. She was very active at the First Baptist Church in Sperry. She volunteered on numerous political elections.
She is survived by sons, Jerry Blue of Chelsea, and Paul and Kathy Blue of Camillus, N.Y; one grandson; five granddaughters; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Pogue of Lewisburg, Ky,; and special niece, Robin Baugh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Blue; son, Steve Blue; grandson, Randy Tandy; mother, Sarah (Goodall) Pogue; father, Lonnie Pogue; brother, Luther "Buck" Pogue' and sisters, Pat Whitescarver and Polly Walker.
