Roxie Lee Hilton

Funeral Services for Roxie Lee Hilton, 85, of Sperry, were held Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Adam Stang officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were David Rose, Jason Hilton, Aarron Hilton, Michael Rose, and Phillip Pridgen. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Roxie was born January 2, 1924 in Nelagoney, OK to Charles Hayes and Charlotte Mae (Wadsworth) Cole. She passed away May 15, 2009 in Collinsville, OK.

She worked for many years as a seamstress for an upholstery shop. She always had a garden and she loved to go fishing and camping in her younger days. She also enjoyed going to the casino until she lost her sight.


She is survived by her son-in-law, Carl Rose of Sperry; daughter-in-law, Trish Hilton of Skiatook; grandchildren, Jason Hilton and wife Ashley of Skiatook, Aarron Hilton of Skiatook, and David Rose of Sperry, great-grandchildren, Michael Rose of Sperry, Morgan Hilton of Prettywater, Bailey Hilton, Jaden Hilton, and Macy Hilton all of Skiatook; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Matthew Hilton; son, Johnny Lee Hilton; daughter, Evelyn Ellen Rose; grandson, Douglas Duane Rose; brother, Roy Cole; sisters, Toots Reddinger and Pearl Bradley.
