Funeral services for Rose Marie Leamae Huddleston, 77, of Tulsa, were Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 in the Sandusky Avenue Christian Church in Tulsa.
The Rev. Jeff Congdon and the Rev. Jimmy Foreman officiated and burial was in the Cache City Cemetery at Cache, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
Pallbearers were Jorge Mendoza, Eddie Mendoza, Lance Hamm, W.D. Shockley, Matt Snider and Kenneth "Soggy" Sullateskee.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Huddleston, Johnnie Jones, Jamse Lohman, Delbert Bates,Robert Sherrell and Christopher Sherrell.
She was born Jan. 21, 1931 in Cache, to William Ruth and Annie Violet (Hunt) Roach.
She passed away Feb. 15, 2008.
She was a caretaker and homemaker. In her spare time she loved to write poetry, go fishing and play bingo.
She is survived by daughters, Ruthee Lohman of Collinsville, Nancy Sherrell of Tulsa and Virginia Bates of Catoosa; son, Patrick Huddleston of Tulsa; grandchildren, Annie Mendoza of Broken Arrow, Johnnie Jones of Ochelata, Bobby Huddleston of Tulsa, Robert Sherrell of Catoosa, Christopher Sherrell of Tulsa, Patricia Sherrell of Catoosa, Jamse Lohman of Collinsville and Brandi Wall of Muskogee; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; many adopted family members; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Mike Huddleston; five children; parents, William and Annie Roach; one sister; and two brothers. Family and friends can sign the guestbook at www.johnsonfhsperry.com.
