Rollen Lee Spencer

Memorial Services for Rollen Lee Spencer, 70, of Sperry, were held March 10, 2010 at the Sperry United Pentecostal Church in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Kevin Erickson officiated. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Rollen Lee Spencer was born May, 1939 in Keota, OK to James Franklin. and Opal R. (McSperitt) Spencer. He passed away March 6, 2010 at the age of 70 years, 10 months, and 3 days.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and served in the South Pacific. In his life, he worked for Boeing Aircraft in Kansas and American Airlines. He also worked as a repo man for Turley Bank and he owned a construction company. He was a well known horse trainer and he enjoyed being a stock car driver.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Spencer of the home; son, Rollen Spencer, Jr. of the home; daughters, Vickey Little and husband Warren of Shawnee, OK and Denise Spencer of Tulsa, OK; Grandchildren, Cheyenne Spencer, Chantel Spencer, Houston Little, James Shelton, and Gentry Shelton; 4 brothers, 3 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Opal Spencer; brothers, James and Larry Spencer; son, Robert Lee Spencer; granddaughter, Bianca Kristine Little.
