Funeral services for Robyn Rae (Smith) Juby, 56, of Skiatook, were held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Sperry, OK. Reverend Andy Anquoe officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Gunnary Young, Jerod Greenleaf, Lane Franklin, Kalob Franklin, Jack Hoskins III, Jeremiah Sanchez and Tyler Jackson. Honorary casket bearers were Duane Tiblow, Doug Tiblow, Roy Gaddy, Charles Rowden, Bill Philpott and Larry Eddings.
Robyn was born August 17, 1960 in Pawhuska, OK to Thomas Earl Smith and LaVerna Rae “Burny” (Greenleaf) Hoskins. She entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2017, at her home in Skiatook, surrounded by her family.
Robyn grew up and attended Sperry High School. While attending Sperry, Robyn enjoyed playing softball, basketball, and cheerleading. After graduation Robyn attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M on a softball scholarship to pursue a career in nursing. Robyn married Scott Dean and they had one daughter Ravyn Rae in 1980. Later Robyn married David Juby in 1984 and they had 2 daughters, Kolby Nicole and Mary Belle. While the girls were little, Robyn attended Rogers State University where she graduated with her RN. Robyn continued in the nursing field for several years. Once her nursing career ended, she focused on her girls and their sports. When grandbabies came, they became spoiling priority! Her girls and grandbabies were her world! Robyn also enjoyed planting flowers and working in her gardens.
She is survived by her daughter, Marybelle Cate and husband Blake; mother, Burny Hoskins of Sperry; adopted daughter, Laura Jackson of Skiatook; Son-in-law, Richard of Collinsville; grandchildren, Madden and Isabella of the home, Gunnar Young of Collinsville, Rylee of Skiatook and Tyler Jackson and wife Keely of Skiatook; siblings, John and Jessie Hoskins of Merriam, OK, Jack and Charlene Hoskins of Kansas City, KS, Laura Hoskins-Brown of Kansas City, KS, Karen and Tom Franklin of Sperry, OK, Terri and Cody Collins of Nelagoney, OK, Brenda Zaun of Bartlesville, OK, Tommy and LouAnn Smith of Barnsdall;; step-mother, Armalee Smith of Barnsdall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Ravyn Rae (Dean) Young and Kolby Nicole Juby, Fathers- Thomas Earl Smith and Billy Joe Hoskins, Siblings- Chad Allen Hoskins and Julie Ann Hoskins, Grandparents- Rose & White Greenleaf, Opal & Jeff Smith, Ova & Jack Hoskins.
