Robert Leroy Wright

Graveside Services for Robert "Sonny" Leroy Wright, 63, of Turley, were held Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Chaplin John Lay officiated. Casket Bearers were David Arehart, James Pigeon, Brian Keith Holt, Bobbie Preble, Steven Rose and Christopher Rainbolt. Honorary Casket Bearer was Bob Brewer. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Robert was born February 17, 1946 in Tulsa, OK to James Herbert and Velma (Robertson) Wright. He passed away March 2, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

He was a truck driver for Belger Cartage for many years. He loved to go camping and fishing. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be very greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris Wright of Turley; children, Brenda Rainbolt of Sapulpa, Wanda Holt of Sapulpa, Jimmie Preble of Tulsa, and Danny Hicks of Tulsa; grandchildren, Misty Dawn, Jamie Holt, Brian Keith Holt, Lindsey Smith, Sabrina Rose Rainbolt, and Christopher Rainbolt all of Sapulpa, Robbie Preble and Jessica Preble of Tulsa; and three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
