Memorial Services for Robert Lee Schultz, 62, of Sperry, were held Wednesday April 8, 2009 at the Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Adam Stang officiated. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
Robert was born May 26, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK to Marion and Dorothy (Pettigrew) Schultz. He passed away April 3, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.
Robert enjoyed trying many different jobs. He was a machinist, concrete layer, stockroom manager, cook, lube technician, shipper, and National Guard Medic. He was a husband of nearly 41 years, a father, foster father, and grandfather. He loved to fish, camp out, playing cards and especially being with his family. He loved his church home and wanted so much to be a part of it, and serve its needs.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Schultz of Sperry; sons, Robert L. Schultz, Jr. of Tulsa, Michael S. Schultz of Sperry; daughters, Stephanie Montandon of FL, April McCullough of Norman, Heather Schultz of Norman, and daughter of his heart, Renee Randle of Bristow; grandchildren, Jonathan, LeAnna, and Brittany Dunn-Montandon, Mark and Destiny McCullough, Donovan and Madison Schultz; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl F. Schultz; Grandparents, Dewey and Elizabeth Pettigrew; and parents, Marion and Dorothy Schultz.
