Robert was raised in Sperry, Oklahoma, where he lived his entire life. He was a dedicated Christian, a kind soul, and the epitome of love and integrity. Robert shared 39 years of marriage with his loving wife, Vickie. Together, they built a beautiful family, including their children Amber and Weston. Robert was also a proud and adoring Papa. A talented painter by trade, Robert worked at his company, Heritage Painting, for many years, where he was joined by his son Weston. His true passion, however, was his family. Robert cherished coaching his children when they were young, and later, he found immense joy in attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, where he was always their biggest fan. He found immense joy in spending time with them, teaching them, and witnessing their growth. Robert is described as the most honorable and kind man anyone could know. His love for others was unconditional, and his presence brightened the lives of everyone around him. His strength, generosity, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on all who knew him. In addition to his passion for his family, Robert was dedicated to his small ranch, where he enjoyed working with his hands and caring for the land. He was a man of deep Christian faith, known for his kindness, generosity, and love for others. Those who knew him say he was a man who made the world brighter simply by being in it.
He is survived by his wife Vickie; children, Amber and Derick Bay, and Weston and Heather Orcutt; grandchildren, Baylor, Scarlett, Lola, Lillian, Charlie, and Lexi and Justin McKinney; sisters, Sherry Hamilton and Marilyn Morrison, and many other extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and other loved ones.
Robert’s family and friends will always remember him as the most amazing husband, father, and papa – a man whose love and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. We love you dad.
