Funeral services for Robert Eugene “Bob” Keiffer, 63, of Sperry, were held Monday, April 4, 2011 at Community Lighthouse Church in Skiatook, OK. Reverend David King, Reverend John King, and Reverend Bill Taylor officiated. Casket bearers were David Hurt, Dean Hulsenbeck, Billy “Fred” Stephens, Deric Goldman, Glen McGuire, and Curtis Whittemore. Honorary casket bearers were Jerry Lewis, Kenneth Crase, Leroy Weathers, and Gary Mackey.
Bob was born March 11, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to Lawrence Milard Keiffer and Clara Etta (Hembree) Ham. He passed away March 31, 2011 in Hominy, OK.
Bob was a horse trainer and he loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed watching football and baseball. He liked anything to do with the outdoors. Bob was a rodeo cowboy when he was young and he rode bulls and roped calves.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff Keiffer and wife Carrie, Jimmy Keiffer, and Cody Keiffer; grandsons, Tommy, Robert, and Tim Murphy; graddaughters, Sami Murphy, Peyton Reece Keiffer, and Kali Paige; great-granddaughter, Jaqueline Rose Murphy-Rotramel; mother, Clara Ham; sisters, Tammy Sharp and Sonja Foster; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Keiffer; step-father, Bud Ham; and sister, Debbie Hampton.
