Robert Windell Freeman

Funeral services for Robert Windell Freeman, 68, of Skiatook, OK, were held Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Dave King and Reverend John King officiated, and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Jeff Keiffer, Benny McCord, Jimmy Keiffer, Cooper McCord, James Stephens, and Ethan McCord. Honorary Casket bearers were Jerry Roberts, Norman Willhite, and John Garrison.

Robert was born January 6, 1956, in Atlanta, GA, to Madison Harris Freeman and Eunice (Warren) Freeman. He passed away September 25, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.

Robert retired from Wonder Bread Bakery and Borg Compressed Steel in Tulsa. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, raising chickens, tending to the garden, general piddling around, watching OU football. Robert loved to talk about politics. He was strong in his faith and knew his Bible very well. 

He is survived by his wife, Janet Freeman; sons, Jeff Keiffer and wife, Carrie, Jimmy Keiffer and wife, Jeanette, and James Stephens and wife, Heather; daughter, Jolena McCord and husband, Benny; grandchildren, Robert Murphy and wife, Cassie, Thomas Murphy, Samantha Medlin and husband, Austin, Cooper McCord, Ethan McCord, Kenneth McCord, Taylor McCord and husband Michael, Haylee Stephens, and Harlee Stephens; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Madyson and Eunice Freeman; grandson, Tim Murphy; and father and mother-in-law, Al and Mary Lou King.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
