Robbin Lynne (Mecalo) Zabienski

FaA Gathering of Family and Friends was held for Robbin Lynne (Mecalo) Zabienski , 66, of Pryor, OK, was held Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Owasso Community Center in Owasso, OK. Honorary casket bearers were Joe Zabienski, Sam Dallas, Hunter Bois, Jimmy Perry, Austin DeGraw, and Derek Zabienski.

Robbin was born December 16, 1957, in Snyder, TX, to Robert Henry Mecalo and Wanda Louise (Fennel) Edwards. She passed away May 23, 2024, in Pryor, OK.

Robbin retired after working for many years as a cashier for Reasors. She previously worked as a medical scheduling coordinator. She married Joe Zabienski on May 26, 2001, and they were married for 23 years. She spent much of her time taking care of her grandchildren, loving her dogs and rooting for her Dallas Cowboys on Sundays. Robbin also enjoyed going to various craft shows and antique shopping.
 
She is survived by her husband, Joe Zabienski; son, Hunter Bois; stepchildren, Erin (Zabienski) White and Joe Zabienski; grandchildren, Lorrie “Bug”, Lilith, Rylie, Kendall, Mila, Wyatt, and Harper; brother, Mike Mecalo; sisters, Bobbie Ann Knight and Becky DeGraw; nephew, Ronnie; cousins, Amanda, Ashley, Justin, Ronnie, Lee, Chad and Adam; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Edwards; dad, RL Edwards; father, Robert H. Mecalo; brother, Bobby Mecalo; and nephew, Lance DeGraw.

Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
