Rita Kay (McMillan) Silfies Wells

Funeral services for Rita Kay (McMillan) Silfies Wells, 62, of Owasso, OK, were held Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Owasso, OK. Bishop Ryan Cox officiated, and burial was in Highland Cemetery in Inola, OK. Casket bearers were Jarred Moore, Clay Conard, Anthony Lange, Matt Lange, Austin Moore, and Waylon Moore.

Rita was born May 10, 1960, in Claremore, OK, to Bernie Leroy McMillan and Mildred Merle (Nichol) McMillan. She passed away April 10, 2023, in Tulsa, OK.

Rita worked in the customer service industry and worked in the accounting office for the Owasso Walmart for over 25 years. She enjoyed doing genealogy research, playing games, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Kiamitia Moore and husband, Jarred of Sperry, and Nicole Conard and husband, Clay of Garden City, MI; grandchildren, Anthony and Mackenzie, Matt and Mikayla, Austin and Erinn, and Waylon and Aubrey; siblings, Gary McMillan and wife Helen, Dan Silfies and wife, Tonya, Barbara Roach and husband, Tim, and Teresa Murray and husband, Michael; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie and Mildred McMillan; mother-in-law, Rebecca Jane Silfies; father-in-law, Milton Silfies; and sister-in-law, Edna Silfies.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
