Rita Lita (Garcia) Zabica

Graveside services for Rita Lita (Garcia) Isam Zabica, 73, of Bartlesville, OK, were held Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK.

Rita was born June 20, 1950, in Cheyenne Wells, CO, to Lewis Garcia and Agapita (Valerio) Garcia. She passed away June 10, 2024, in Caney, KS.

Born into a large family, Rita was one of ten siblings. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker. She married James Isam and had three children, Robert Ray, Maudia Christalee, and Janice Irene. Rita had a remarkable ability to share what little she had with everyone she loved.

She is survived by her daughters, Maudia Kistler and Janice Johnson; seven grandchildren, Darren Brewer, Cheyenne Thomas, Marissa Brewer, Briar Isam, Jackson Thomas, Tabor Kistler, and James Kistler; five great-grandchildren, Bruce Brewer, Magnolia Still, Brock Brewer, Conrad Isam, and Ray Thomas; brothers, Raymond Garcia, Joe Garcia, and Danny Garcia; sisters, Bertha Echelberry, Theresa Penrod, and Hilda Garcia; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Isam, second husband, Stanley Zabica; son, Robert Isam, granddaughter, Chelsea; parents, Lewis and Agapita Garcia; brothers, Louis Garcia, and Frank Garcia; and sister, Josephine Heimann.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
