Richard Keith Wright

A Memorial Gathering for Richard Keith “Rick” Wright, 56, of Barnsdall, was held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Wright Residence in Barnsdall, OK.

Rick was born April 3, 1960 in Ponca City, OK to step-father, Darrell and Charlene (Smith) Clement. He passed away August 9, 2016 in Tulsa, OK.

Rick was the sales manager for Equipment One. Rick enjoyed fishing, having get-togethers with family and friends. He loved being on the water with an ice cold Pepsi and his fishing pole. For those that knew him, he had a passion for giving everyone a hard time and a nickname. You could go to Rick with a problem and he was the one that could help you solve it. He was a grand tinkerer, nothing was ever broken. Almost everyone that knew Rick, has an experience that was shared with him. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. “Fish On”

He is survived by his wife, Sidney Wright; children, Darrell Wright and wife Jessica and Jamie Cole and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Abbey, Kaylee, Lilly, Marissa, C.J., Trey, Garrett, Hannalynn and Apollo; siblings, Kathy Dodson and husband Danny and their children; Fred Wright and wife Paula and their children, Ted Wright and Carri Williamson and their children, and Shannon Morrison and husband Tony and their children; parents, Charlene and Darrell Wright; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Coty Morrison; and uncles, Sonny Smith and James “Worm” Smith.
