Funeral Services for Rebecca Ruth Miller, 83, of Tulsa, were held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Sperry, Oklahoma. The Reverend Don Queen officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, Oklahoma. Casket Bearers were Gene Miller, Lee Miller, Terry Miller, John Tackett, Chad Burnett and Dave Mettam. Honorary Casket Bearers were Gary Miller, Brett Burnett and Larry Pink. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Rebecca was born May 3, 1926 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma to Jim Gray and Edith Pearl (Lemon) Gilbert. She passed away September 28, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was a house wife all her life and did an excellent job keeping a clean house, cooking and taking care of her family. Rebecca was a hard worker and loved her kids, grand-kids and great-grand kids. She also loved hearing about what was going on in their lives, along with sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by her Sons, Bobby Joe Miller and wife Sarah of Sapulpa and Jim Ross Miller and wife Teresa of Ponca City, OK; Daughter, Barbara June Holleman and husband Robert of Cleveland, OK; Brother, Edgar Gilbert and wife Betty of Chickasha, OK; Sister, Loretta Moore of Chickasha, OK; Grand-Children, Tammy, Jerri, Gary, Tracy, Kelly and Rebecca (Becky); Great-Grand-Children, Paige, Bailey, Mahlia and Brett, along with many other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Myrlen L. Miller; Parents, Jim and Edith Gilbert; Brothers, J.G. Gilbert Jr. and Fred Gilbert; Sisters, Olive Huff, Neoma Waitley, Neotha Nelson and Mary Giddins.
