Memorial services for Raymond Wallace Harrison, of Tulsa, were held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Osage Oaks Church of God in Sperry, OK. Mr. Daniel Eng performed the Eulogy. Reverend Jerry Harper and Reverend Doyle Ginn officiated. Honorary casket bearers were Cody Allen, Johnny Osburn, Leon McQuay, Troy McGee, Jerry Hawkins, Bobby Chanley, Jerry Mills, and Jamie Elsie.
Raymond Wallace “Sugar Ray” Harrison was born November 25, 1941 in Vinita, OK to Earl and Urahlee (Smith) Harrison. He passed away December 3, 2012 at the age of 71 years, 8 days.
Ray was a residential and commercial construction contractor. He enjoyed collecting hot wheels, going to mud bogs, classic cars, roller skating and playing games. You could always find him helping others. Ray was a faithful servant of God who mentored everyone he came in contact with. He loved spending time with family, playing with the grandkids, being Patriotic and enjoyed decorating for and celebrating Christmas. He was a visionary for Christ. To know him was to be blessed by him.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Harrison of Tulsa; son, Kevin Harrison and wife Ange of Skiatook; daughter, Sherri Eng and husband Michael of Tulsa; brothers, Bobby Harrison of Missouri and Ned Harrison of California; grandchildren, Dusty Agnew , Cassey Wiedner and husband Danny, Cody Allen, Maverick Edmounds, Abbey Edmounds, Cooper Harrison, Daniel Eng and wife Joanna, and Michelle Eng; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Gavin, Shayla, Coaplen, Devin, Dax, and Jameson; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Urahlee Harrison; brothers, Wayne Harrison and Roy Harrison; and sisters, Jane Ann Harrison and Lila Watkins.
