Funeral services for Phillip Earl Hudson, 77, of Skiatook, OK, were held Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at First Christian Church in Skiatook, OK. Reverend Dianna Izquierdo and Reverend Dale Neilsen officiated, and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Jerald Harvel, Anthony L. Hudson, Ryan McCauley, Ryan Hudson, Jeff Puckett, and Mark Hudson. Honorary Casket bearers were William Yandell II, Thomas Stumpf, Dillon Odom, Brandon Fulkerson, Trace Harvel, Lou Phillips, John Harvel and Ty Anderson.
Phillip was born March 24, 1946, in Turley, OK, to Grover Earl Hudson and Mary Ellen (Jones) Hudson. He passed away January 26, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.
Phillip was a US Army Veteran. He worked as a crane operator for Lee C. Moore. He also worked for Honeywell as a maintenance hand. He enjoyed working on various woodworking and welding projects and making t-shirts out of dollar bills. Phillip especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Hudson; daughter, Stacey Stumpf and husband, Brian; grandchildren, William Yandell II, Thomas Stumpf, Yauri Fulkerson and husband, Brandon, and Kaylyn Odom and husband, Dillon; great-grandchildren, Liam Yandell, Violet Yandell, and Nicholas Yandell; sister, Sharon Harvel; brothers, Lloyd Hudson and wife, Blanche, and Tony Hudson and wife, Ronda; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Hudson; parents, Grover and Mary Ellen Hudson; and brothers, Gary Hudson, Cecil Hudson and Donald Hudson.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
