Funeral services for Perryetta (Porter) Metzger, 77, of Skiatook, OK, were held Friday, September 3, 2021, at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Adam Stang officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Dalton Wayne Brannam, Joe Don Eaves, Jimmy Qualls, Chance King, Jerry Wildcat and Chase King.
Perryetta was born March 1, 1944, in Tulsa, OK, to Perry Cutburth and Mary Marie (Coley) Porter. She passed away August 31, 2021, in Owasso, OK.
Perryetta was the only hotshot woman in Tulsa, OK. She was a member of the OCA, The Skiatook Round Up Club, Collinsville Little Riders, The NBHA, and CRRA. Her favorite hobby was barrel racing, and she won numerous saddles and buckles. Perryetta owned her own business, PM Delivers. She was big on her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her friends. If you were her friend, then Perryetta knew you forever. She either liked you or she didn’t.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Dean Metzger of Skiatook; son, Robert Dean Metzger, Jr. of Skiatook; daughter, Kelly Marie Droz and husband, Jerry of Ramona; grandchildren, Samantha Marie Brannam of Ramona, Dalton Wayne Brannam of Skiatook, and Ivy Jo Brannam of Skiatook; great-grandchildren, Korben Wayne Lee of Ramona, Allie Joyce Brannam of Skiatook, RadyLynn Mae Lee of Ramona, Beau Wayne Brannam of Skiatook, and Colt’lee Joe Brannam of Skiatook; best friend, Jimmy Qualls of Sperry; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Mary Porter.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
