Funeral services for Pearl Marie (Gibson) Ralls, 86, of Sand Springs, were held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Gary McDevitt officiated and a private family committal followed. Honorary casket bearers were Thomas Gibson, Alan Gibson, Ralph Gibson, Billy Gibson, Charlie Gibson, Raymond Gibson, Floyd Gibson, Everett Gibson, Oliver “Tex” Gibson, Roy Gibson, Eddie Gibson, and Stanley Gibson.
Pearl was born April 30, 1924 in Spavinaw, OK to Harry L. and Haddie Mae (Linconfelter) Gibson. She passed away February 8, 2011 in Tulsa, OK.
Pearl was a homemaker. She raised 10 children and numerous grandchildren. She loved reading her bible every morning and reciting Psalms 23. When she could find a ride, she loved going to church. Pearl liked to cook, especially her famous biscuits. She was a very active woman and nothing slowed her down. Most of all she loved being around her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Wiggins of Tulsa, Sarah Bruner and husband Sonny, Jeannie Rooks of Keystone, Rose Morris and husband Roy of Sand Springs; brothers, Thomas Gibson and wife Betty of Tulsa, Alan Gibson of Tulsa; sisters, Frankie Beastin of Copan, and Doris Bristol and husband Gary of Tulsa; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Ralls; sons; David Ralls, Donald Ralls, Carl Ralls and Sammy Ralls; daughters; Shirley Bristol and Betty Jewell; brothers; Ralph Gibson, Charlie Gibson, Billy Gibson, Raymond Gibson, Floyd Gibson, Everett Gibson, Oliver Gibson, Roy Gibson, Eddie Gibson, and Stanley Gibson; and sister, Daisy Bickle.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
