Pauline Wilma Pearse

Funeral Services for Pauline Wilma (Swain) Pearse, 88, of Beggs, were held Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the ClearView Baptist Church in Okmulgee, OK. The Reverend Randy Mathews officiated and burial was in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket Bearers were Robert Espinoza, Jr., Gary Carter, Robert Espinoza, Sr., Roger Dye, Odell Shaw, and Josh Coale. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Pauline was born February 8, 1926 in Oklahoma City, OK to Pete Swain and Etha (Lakin) Woody. She passed away March 31, 2014 in Beggs, OK.

Pauline became a homemaker after working for many years. She met Wallace while attending Okmulgee Trade School and they were married three weeks later on April 9, 1955. Pauline loved animals. She enjoyed playing dominoes, and working in her garden; planting both flowers and veggies.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Pearse) Espinoza and husband Robert of Beggs; grandchildren, Christopher Koch, Elizabeth Coale, Victoria Koch, Andrea Pearse Espinoza, and Robert Luscion Espinoza; great-grandchildren, Lynlee Coale, Delaney Coale, Andrew Carter, and Connor Coale; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lee Pearse, 63; mother, Etha Woody, 98; brothers, J.R. Swain, 57, and Paul Swain, (twin brother to Pauline), 3 months; and granddaughter, Robyn Espinoza Johnson, 15.
