Patsy Ann (Briggs) Simpson

Memorial services for Patsy Ann (Briggs) Simpson, 83, of Broken Arrow, OK, were held Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Jason Simpson and Phillip Johnson officiated.

Patsy was born June 17, 1939, in Moyers, OK, to William Doyle and Anna May (Henry) Briggs. She passed away August 22, 2022, in Broken Arrow, OK.

Patsy was a business manager in retail sales. She was a member of the Cherokee Elementary School PTA, and volunteered in several different organizations, and also a volunteer teacher’s assistant. She was involved in anything and everything that her children participated in. Patsy enjoyed baking, reading, camping, music and dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Simpson; son, Jason Simpson; grandson, Colton Roberts; nephew, Dean Simpson; sister and best friend, Inez Forrest; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Dewayne Simpson; father, William Briggs; mother, Anna Briggs; father-in-law, Herbert Simpson; mother-in-law, Aileen Simpson; and sister-in-law, Vonna Louise Simpson.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
