Funeral services for Patricia Ruth “Pat” (Denison) North, 78, of Sperry, OK, were held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Trina Bose North officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Ron Green, David Phillips, Rokey Arrasmith, Rick Pender, Justin North, and Don Combs. Honorary Casket bearers were Jennifer Bacon, Jolene North, Alexis Bacon, Denise Metcalf, Amber Raymon, and Susan Green.

Pat was born October 29, 1946, in Tulsa, OK, to Robert Fields Denison and Mildred Norris (Roberts) Denison. She passed away January 14, 2025, in Tulsa, OK.

Pat, born as the eldest of three children, lived a life filled with devotion to her family, community, and passions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tulsa in 1969, the same year she married the love of her life, William, known by many as Henry. She dedicated many years to education as a substitute teacher and shared her musical talents as a talented church musician. An active community leader, Pat was a proud recipient of an honorary FFA Degree. She served as Past-President of the Oklahoma Rebekah Assembly and District Governor of the Oklahoma Lioness Club. She also took great pride in mentoring young women as a leader for her local Girl Scouts troop. Pat cherished the simple joys of life, especially being outdoors. Whether tending to her beloved irises or spending time with the cows, she found solace in nature—though when the weather turned cold, she could often be found inside, creating handmade treasures through her love of sewing.

She is survived by her husband, Henry North; daughters, Jennifer Bacon and Jolene North and her spouse, Denise Metcalf; granddaughter, Alexis Bacon; brother, Bill Denison and wife, Amber Raymon; brother, Robert Denison; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mildred Denison; aunts, Jennie Hill, Frances Herrod, Shirley Thompson, and Catherine Louise Stafford; and uncles, Bill Roberts, and Jack Roberts.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
