Funeral services for Ollie Edward Acreman, 75, of Tulsa, were held Monday, January 5, 2015 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Owasso, OK. Reverend Ty Westlake officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Dale Acreman, Doyle Acreman, Joseph Acreman, Neal George, Benny Morrow, and Phil Thirion. Honorary casket bearers were Randy Acreman, Dewayne Acreman and Colton Acreman.
Ollie was born September 9, 1939 in Conroe, TX to Ollie B. and Florence Elizabeth (Stone) Acreman. He passed away January 1, 2015 in Tulsa, OK.
Ollie was proud of his children, grandchildren, and numerous other relatives. He had lived in Texas, Florida, and Alabama before moving to the Tulsa area in 1976. Ollie had his own dump trucking business before retiring in 2012. He had many friends and was a friend to many. Ollie was well liked by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Zoe Acreman of Tulsa; sons, Doyle Acreman and wife Lisa of Tulsa, Randy Acreman of Tulsa, Dewayne Acreman of AL, and Ronald Acreman of Tulsa; daughter, Rhonda Lewallen of Conroe, TX; numerous grandchildren; brothers, Earnest Acreman of Magnolia, TX, and Dale Acreman and wife Linda of Cleveland, OK; sisters, Myrtle Elizabeth of Houston, TX and Earlene of TX; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Acreman; granddaughter, Megan Wakeham; parents, Ollie and Florence Acreman; and infant twin sister of Earlene.
