Funeral Services for Olen P Washington, 53, of Tulsa, were held January 20, 2010 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, Oklahoma. The Bob Cooper officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, Oklahoma. Casket Bearers were Samuel Cason, Ron Bevard, Daniel Washington, Don Jones, Nathan Washington, Scott Lieb. Honorary Casket Bearers Ronnie Strain, J.W. Washington, Kevin Boyd. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.


Olen was born October 1, 1956 in Claremore, OK to Jasper Paul and Emma Fisher (Henderson) Washington. He passed away January 17, 2010.


He was a fireman with the Owasso F.D. and was most recently employed in sales. He was a proud member of the Creek Nation Indian Tribe of Oklahoma. The last several years he was involved with AA/NA. He loved to travel, loved music and was always interested in the Native Culture.


He is survived by his brothers, Justin W. Washington of Tulsa and Wallace M. Boyd and wife Sally Jo Perryton, Tx. Numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. Fiancee, Laurie Anusevich of Tulsa, OK.


He was preceded in death by his mother Emma J. Fisher and father Jasper P Washington; brothers, Clayton C. Boyd and Steven L. Washington. .
