Funeral services for Norma Jean Remington, 73, of Turley, were held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 in the First Baptist Church in Sperry.
The Rev. Andy Anquoe and Ival Robinson officiated and burial was in the Charley Cemetery at Sperry.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.

Pallbearers were Chris Remington, Drew Packard, Wes Packard, Brady Smith, Sam Remington and Shane Remington.
Honorary pallbearers were Pat McCutchen, Derick Mason, Roger McCutchen, Jack McCutchen Mike McCutchen, Danny McCutchen and Jerry McCutchen. She was born on July 26, 1934 in Skiatook to Charles and Nora (Gibson) Tiblow.

She passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2008.
She spent her last days at home with her family and friends celebrating the life she loved. Norma was a homemaker and caregiver to all. True to her Native American heritage, she loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting deer with her husband Bobby.

Norma's love for her husband, children, grandchildren and her great-grandson, Aaron Riley Remington was immeasurable. She left a legacy of love that will be carried on by her family and those she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Remington; daughters, Nancy Smith of Skiatook; Barbara Atkins and husband Mike of Tulsa; Brenda Packard and husband Steve of Fayetteville, Ark.; son, Bobby Remington, Jr. and wife JoVonda of Tulsa; sisters, Betty George of Tulsa, Francis Leonard of Wagoner, Monty Eason of Muskogee, Judy Duty of Skiatook and Mary Sisk of Collinsville; brother, Charles Tiblow of Skiatook;
She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Byrd Tiblow, and a brother, Samuel Wess Tiblow.
