Marie (Jamison) Tilley, 84, of Sand Springs, OK, was born December 26, 1939, in Tahlequah, OK, to Willis Ezery Jamison and Grace Marie (Burnett) Jamison. She passed away December 16, 2024, at home with her immediate family by her side. 

Marie marries her husband, JR Tilley on November 5, 1956, and they had two children: Patricia Sue and Bobbie Ann. They were 13 ½ years apart. Marie and JR lived in Sand Springs for most of their marriage. Marie worked for Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs for 32 ½ years. When Marie wasn’t working, they were always together doing whatever as a couple. From hunting, and going to flea markets, to selling produce. Mainly going fishing though, because Marie loved competing with JR when it came to trotlines, juglines, to trolling. They just enjoyed so much together. 

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Junior Tilley; children, Patricia Sue Tilley, Bobbie Ann Tilley-Penrod and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Justin Ray Tilley-Galatian, and Anna Jean Tilley-Galatian and husband, Drue Johnson; great-grandchildren, Payton Brian Austin Johnson, Jackson Ray-Lee Johnson, and Averie Elizabeth Faye Johnson; bonus granddaughter, Hollie Marie Penrod; bonus great-grandchildren, Mya Sue, Nolan, JD, and Karter; siblings, Emma Perkins, JD Jamison, Willie Jamison, and wife, Sharla, Donna Lamproe and husband, Carl, Doreen Clear and husband, Beetle, and Jimmy Jamison; sisters-in-law, Linda Jamison and Pam Jamison; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Meagan Marie Johnson; parents, Willis Ezery and Grace Marie Jamison; brothers, Norwood Jamison, James H. Jamison, Perry Jamison, Ezery Eugene Jamison, and Edward Jamison; and sisters, Bethel Redfern, and Dessie Jamison.
