Myrtle Elizabeth Eades

Funeral Services for Myrtle Elizabeth Eades, 84, of Turley, were held Saturday April 4, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Jeffrey Wren officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Homer Beeler, Jr., Walter Beeler, Wesley Beeler, Donnie Miller, James Critser, Jr., and Jessie Sharrah. Honorary Casket Bearers were Jimmy Eades, Jr., and James E. Critser, Sr. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Mrytle was born December 3, 1924 in Porter, OK to Henry Bristol and Bertha (Humphrey) Bristol-Garrison. She passed away April 2, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

She collected dolls, frogs and turtles, and loved going to yard sales.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessie (Wendy) Eades of Turley, Iva MaLinda Meese of Grove, Audrey Beeler of Turley, Effie Sharrah of Buda, TX, Linda Dry of Muskogee, Nellie Critser of Sperry; sons, James Eades of Stigler, John (Eades) Ramsey of Weatherford, TX, and Jimmie Eades of Turley; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Eades; sisters, Viola Waylon, Georgia (Cook) Bratton, and Goldie Howard; brothers, Warren Bristol, Kermit Bristol, Floyd Bristol, Lloyd Bristol, Johnny Bristol and Henry W. (Tan) Bristol and parents, Henry Bristol and Bertha Bristol-Garrison.
