Funeral services for Myra Nell “Marnell” (Perigo) Loney, 80, of Skiatook, were held Monday, May 22, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Pastor Trey Harper officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Sean Worley, Nick Emery, Tyler Worley, Tony Perigo, Shawnee Worley and Jack Perigo. Honorary casket bearers were Todd Worley, Kenny Loney, Kye Worley, Kerry Loney, Dyami Worley and Jerry Kelly.

Myra was born May 16, 1936 in Sperry, OK to Ivan Sidney and Gertrude Irene (DeArmon) Perigo. She passed away May 12, 2017 in Skiatook, OK.

Myra worked for Western Electric, and was employed with Southwestern Bell for over 20 years. She started out as a secretary and was the first woman at her location to work out in the field. She worked in and climbed up in the cable racks, doing all repairs and disconnects, etc. This was a job that was only given to men at that time. Myra could fix anything. She loved to help her family with any sort of renovation. No project was too big or too small. She re-upholstered furniture and loved to build. Myra had an amazing sense of humor. She was always upfront and honest with her opinions. Myra enjoyed making candies and cakes. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed all of the holidays.

She is survived by her daughter, LaJuana J. Worley; grandchildren, Sean L. Worley and wife Shauna, Todd J. Worley and wife Audra. Melissa T. Worley, Kye Worley, and Summer Emery and husband Nick; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, A. Sue Weathers, and Dorothy D. Palmer; sister-in-law, Carol Perigo; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Loney, Sr.; son, Richard L. ”Butch” Loney, Jr.; parents, Ivan and Gertrude Perigo; brother, Scott J. Perigo; and sister, I. June Deerinwater.
