Mona June Willhite

Memorial Services for Mona June (Summers) Willhite, 80, of Skiatook, were held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the New Beginning Ministries Church in Skiatook, OK. The Pastor Mike Wade officiated and a private family interment followed. Honorary Casket Bearers were Roger Allen Willhite, Teddy Todd, Andrew Henery Willhite, and Chance Huddleston. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Mona was born May 19, 1934 in Sperry, OK to John Summers and Elnora (Nix) Sweeley. She passed away December 15, 2014 in Skiatook, OK.

Mona was a housekeeping supervisor for the Ramada Hotel and Resort in Laughlin, Nevada.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Willhite, Sr. of Skiatook; sons, Norman Willhite, Jr. and wife Renee of Skiatook, and Roger Dean Willhite and wife Lupe of Prattville; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Westmoland of Skiatook and Nola Robertson of Sperry; brother, Buddy Summers of Norman; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elnora Sweeley; father, John Summers; brother, John H. Summers, Jr.; and sister, Judy Kay Salyer.
